HazelEyesSparkle View Profile History	Are dating and relationships supposed to be this difficult Posted : 2 Jan, 2025 10:31 PM I've unfortunately been feeling pretty down about not being able to find someone to date and settle down with. Some days, I don't mind at all like it completely slips my mind. It is very hard though when you see everyone getting engaged around you but you. One of my best friends has been married for about 9 years. I just learned that my other best friend got engaged this past year. I don't know what it is about me but no one seems to want to even embark on anything with me. I don't understand why. I find myself very positive, nice to be around, adventurous, and down-to-earth. I like a lot of different activities and such if they would just give me the chance. I've gone on dates where men just want physical, they are silent, or they just don't want to put any effort in. I do want to get married but can't achieve that if everyone hates me. Should I just give up or put myself more out there or what? Post Reply

One of them turned me down because I fear flying. A Christian that turns down another Christian just because of fear of flying. Remember the story of Moses when he helped the women draw water from the well. They probably just said thank you and then left him alone until Jethro told them, where is the man that helped you, how did you leave the man like that? Bring him here so that he may eat bread. But what happens today is happening in Western countries or better say in white countries. In Asia and in Africa women do not hold most of the cards. And they are much more open to dialogue and conversation and far more tolerant in dating and less exacting. Post Reply

I can totally relate. It is amazing how there are so many single people and some seem very kind but just missing that little something. I was told by an older man i work with you can't be picky! 😄🤦‍♂️. Yeah, okay. So let's just date to get divorced. Of course he isn't Christian nor is he much of a philosopher of love obviously. So are we too picky or should we settle? What are we settling for if we do? If you still pop in here feel free to hit me up. We can chat here or in private with the other side about this. I would take up rbj66 on his offer and write him. There are a few older men here who would have you. Some are looking for marriage, but cannot find a conservative soul that will marry them. I myself am not looking for marriage. I want a committed relationship outside of marriage. Some want tradition. Everyone here is getting older by the minute. A few of us are a few years than when we first got on here. A number of us have yet to meet a person in person. Point being, you are older than when you first got on and you are getting passed your bloom. You know your own desires better than anyone here. If you want to marry, marry. If you want to find a Christian man online, there are a few up your alley here that would be glad for a woman like you to tie the knot. You may end up marrying an older guy as you are definitely older by the minute and no one your age has married you. There are a few guys here enough on the same page as you in respect to religion and your line of thought. Post Reply
