I think it is crucial to have the same core values. Little things and differences in temperament and such don't matter. But wanting to have a family and raise children in the Christian faith is very important.

Yes, now days we call that "Partners in Crime". Ahab and Jezebel had the same core values. Ananias and Sapphira had the same core values, and David and Bathsheba had the same core values.

I've had a harder time finding my match. I too want to start a family. Wishful thoughts of Genesis 30, Isaiah 4:1, Matthew 25:1 and Proverbs 31:12, BUT HARD TO FIND THAT NOW DAYS. I want women that welcome having kids and won't be trouble for me. Proverbs 31:12 "She brings him good, not harm all the days of her life."

Having the same core values is great, except core values change especially among women. Men's core values typically don't change. And for some women their values change depending on their mood. Divorces are almost always because the wife's core values changed, and not for the better.
