I watched the video.

Certainly not a biblical baptism.

Too much superstition and anti-biblical human tradition involved.

Sorta reminds me of charismania distortion of tongues and miracles AND where God supposedly speaks to people on a regular basis AND where theology is adaptable to man made traditions rather than based strictly on the Bible even though the Bible is regularly quoted.

Yes, False religion kills and sends to hell. SAD very sad‼️

Didn't see the video but if somebody believes that water baptism plays a part in our salvation our justification then yes it is deadly

Galatians 2:21

You didn’t miss anything HC.

The best I can describe it—some Russian lady and her family saw baptism primarily as a charm, sorta like the afore mentioned believe superstitiously that the modern day distortion of “speaking in tongues” is a proof of God’s favor.

So the lady in the clip, has a hole cut in the frozen ice that covers water that runs briskly over a deep creek or river. She and her family have the cut made in the shape of a cross large enough for a grown person to fit into.

Now, clad only in a western style bathing suit she back dives into the icy cross shaped cut and into frigid water coursing below never to be seen again.

I don’t know but the story doesn’t sound believable. Who would do something so reckless. But then again, superstition and false religion often drives people to do some bizarrely stupid things.

She doesn’t drown, no one knows. According to the narrator, she is pulled by the currents downstream under the ice. Apparently search crews could never find this dear woman.

Just another reason false religion should be exposed for what it is‼️‼️

Good point, but this silliness is beyond the scope of even Darwin’s idiocy

1 Peter 3:21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ...

But you can explain it away by twisting scripture, I'm sure.

Note: Calvinists say that we can't get to heaven by works (our works I agree), but Baptism is a work of God, not man.

See also Acts 2: 38, 8:36-38, Acts 22:16-f, Rom. 6:3-4, 1 Cor. 12:13, Galatians 3:27 all of you who were baptized into Christ have CLOTHED YOURSELVES WITH CHRIST. (where else does is mention this with belief ALONE).

Col. 2:12 having been buried WITH HIM in baptism, in which you were also RAISED WITH HIM through your faith in the WORKING OF GOD, who raised him from the dead.

It's a work of God, not man.

You would do well to read about the patristic father's writings and their understanding of baptism. You may be shocked to learn that they saw it as vital.

The best description that I've heard is that it is not REQUIRED to be saved (God can forgive whoever he wants to like the thief on the cross), but that it is the normative means of salvation and receipt of the Holy Spirit.

You’re right, baptism doesn’t save you, it is a matter of obedience. Thank you for posting😃
