Ask yourself, does it say we will see antichrist? Is "the Day of the LORD" in 1 Thess 5:2 relating to "that day" in 2 Thess 2:3? Do not be deceived. Many already have been by mere humans, and you are no match for Satan on your own so don't get overconfident. He is coming to test and devour you and i. Be ready. A lot more on this for sure. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 4:18 Why comfort one another with these words. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you. 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 2 Thess 2:1 Now we beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to him, 2:2 That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God Post Reply
LittleDavid View Profile History	Rapture theory Posted : 5 Jul, 2025 07:28 AM Good thing to think about, thank you for posting about it. There’s been a lot of people attacking the rapture. They say it’s a cop out theory build on hopes of avoiding all the coming trouble. Nevertheless, It’s an interesting debate watching as each side stacks up whatever evidence they have. I haven’t seen a strong rebuttal to the rapture. Post Reply

Sure would be nice to be gone in a twinkling of an eye before the Great tribulation happens though . Whatever the case however it pans out we need to be found laboring in the fields when Christ returns Post Reply

But we are supposed to be ready. Some popular speakers win some following. They make assertions and use convincing words and time proves them wrong. Then like the Jehovah Witness did, they change their words and adjust their teachings. They make modifications to keep their followers. When Jehovah Witnesses reached their number of 144,000, they sold their possessions and dressed in white robes and waited upon a hill for the Lord's return. He never came. Then they said that he appeared invisibly. Then they projected that some of their number were not worthy of being among the 144,000. Only one's who think themselves worthy of being among the 144,000 can accept bread and wine at the remembrance. All others are to refuse the bread and wine at the remembrance. Everyone is offered, but all are rejected. No one is to accept, except the highest hierarchy that has hope in being among the 144,000. Point being, that many things are said that are proven to be false. Hal Lindsey said many things that were proven to be false. Hal Lindsey wrote "the Late Great Planet Earth". People get many things wrong. But be ready. Post Reply
