Admin	Poem Posted : 19 Aug, 2010 04:54 PM I didn't know what to put this under in the forum, but I wanted to share with you all a poem I wrote a couple of years ago. :) I hope you receive as much of a blessing from it as I did writing it. :) Feedback is welcome and appreciated! The Rescue I've run down every darkened ally, crossed every bridge to grief and dispair; felt the world pulling me down when I saw my Saviour there. Something was different about You so kindly You reached out your hand, I trembled and said "I'm afraid" You said, "I know, I understand". I said, "I've been mistreated, put down and scorned." "I know how you feel" You replied, "I've been there before" You spoke of a cross, on which You had hung, an un-yielding mercy, and all-powerful love. "It was the only way, You said, �to give others life." "So that you might live, I was the sacrifice" "Oh Lord" I said, "What can one such as I do to repay?" "My precious child" you whispered, "Give your life to me today" "I'll take it and cherish you as you've never known; and for as long as you live, you'll never be alone" Then one more light will shine for a world void of of love and be witness to a Grace that is always enough" Post Reply
