In our long walk on life, we have no idea reflecting back on it how we managed to get so far without each other. In all honesty, the very definition of "soul mate" speaks of us. We lived on the opposite side of the world, and it was tough adjusting to a long distance relationship, but we made it happen. Now, 8 months after meeting on this site, we are happily engaged and looking to share every moment together. This couldn't have happened without the help of christiandatingforfree.com and God himself. I can't describe in words just how much Madel and I love each other. It's like a fairy tale story, that keeps getting more and more exciting every week.

I had gotten of a real rocky relationship and I was just on here to see what kind of people were on here. One day I wanted to start a conversation with this girl I found. We sent each mail on this site until we started to IM. It was then we started to talk for a real long time. It was so strange because I have never felt like I wanted to be in another person's life like I did with her. It was like an instant connection. We are now continuing with IMing each other until one day I really do hope to see her. I only long and wait to see that day.

When i joined CDFF i had mixed feelings, i was not sure that meeting someone on a dating site would work, especially having had some absurd results from another site claiming to be for christians. I asked God to lead me and I am thankful to God for the gift of a soulmate and to CDFF for giving us the platform to meet. Just wanted to share a little bit about me !
I had joined because a friend told me I had nothing to lose. After losing a fiance' to a car accident a few years before, she said enough was enough. She helped to create my account. I was in Atlanta,Ga. Little did I know that several hours away in Ontario,Canada was a man who was being told the same thing "You have nothing to lose !" as his friend persuaded him and helped to make him an account. I had no interest in a long distance relationship. I ignored him for a month before finally replying. After 4 months online, he drove to Nashville to meet me in person for Valentine's Day weekend 2010. The rest is history. I knew that our progressing relationship would mean I would be moving closer. Sure enough, in September of 2010, a job in Boston fell in my lap. God had blessed him with a new home that was completed in November. And it was in that home,he proposed to me in front of 40 of our closest Canadian friends and family while I visited for the holidays.

When I moved to Boston, I entered fellowship with a house church in Rhode Island---made up of a few people I had known for a few years. One of those people was a 19 year old,beautiful single mom--- a pregnancy that was a result of a rape. She had recently became a believer and had started walking with Christ. She had questioned if anyone would ever accept her and her baby.I suggested the site to her and reluctantly she allowed me to assist her with an account.

Little did we know, that just an hour away was a single dad who wasn't too sure about online dating but thought "Hey...what do I have to lose ?". They met in October and it was a divine meeting. After 4 months of an amazing connection, he proposed to her on Valentine's night !

We are all excited to be sharing this joy of how God does amazing things and sometimes in pretty unusual ways :)

I will be moving to Canada in September with a wedding date of October 8th.

My friend will be getting married July 3rd.
